The pocket puzzle Les passes d'Arcachon is a Tàlat puzzle with 99 pieces.
This model was conceived and designed by cartographer Lucie Simoneau and represents the entrance to the Arcachon basin, home to Europe's tallest dune. In nautical language, a "passe" (pass) is a narrow channel or a navigable passage. Today, whether you are a sailor or not, you can be in a good pass ("bonne passe") or going through a bad pass ("mauvaise passe"). Particular attention is paid to the balance between the visual aesthetic of the map and the puzzle experience.
